A South Florida man continues to beat the odds, as he celebrates yet another trip around the sun, years after he fought a tough battle against COVID-19.James Gardner is currently in great health, and on Saturday afternoon, he celebrated his 80th birthday in Southwest Miami-Dade surrounded by family, friends, local officials and the frontline workers who nursed him back to health back in 2020.“I’m great, I’m great. Help may be on the way for low-income Americans with disabilities who don’t earn as much, but are still trying to save money.A proposal before Congress called for federal matching funds for what are known as ABLE accounts.The ABLE accounts are tax-advantaged savings accounts for people with disabilities and their families.There would be a federal dollar-for-dollar match of up to $2,000 for individuals who earn $28,000 or less per year.

A federal judge late Friday dismissed Donald Trump’s $475 million defamation lawsuit against CNN, in which the former president argued that the cable network’s statements about his false 2020 election fraud claims likened him to Adolf Hitler.In the lawsuit, Trump’s team argued that CNN writers and television anchors’ use of the phrase the “Big Lie,” in five specific incidents, incited “readers and viewers to hate, contempt, distrust, ridicule, and even fear” him.
