SAN FRANCISCO — Steph Curry scored 36 points in the Warriors’ 121-115 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night. The win snapped a three-game losing streak and moved the Warriors to a 16-17 record.All five of the Warriors scored in double figures for the first time this season. Curry turned a cold start into a 12-point second quarter and 17-point second half. He shot 12-from-20 from the field and 4-for-9 from 3. Jonathan Kuminga had 19 points going 7-of-14 from the field with six rebounds and four assists. Klay Thompson had 15 points, Chris Paul had 12 and Trayce Jackson-Davis had 10.Gary Payton II suffered a left hamstring strain mid-way through the third quarter. An 18-year-old D.C. man has been arrested and charged with the killing of 18-year-old Ashlei Hinds, who was shot to death at a New Year’s party at a Friendship Heights hotel.D.C. police have arrested Jelani Cousin, of Northeast, and charged him with second degree murder while armed.“I’m glad that … he was arrested and … now [we] just wait for the judicial system to convict him and get all of the details and make sure whoever is responsible … if it’s not just him — somebody else or whatever — is convicted and we get justice,” Hinds’ mother, Tiffany Falden of Clinton, Maryland, told WTOP.Police said the shooting happened around 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 1.
