Authorities have shut down Route 3 in both directions in Billerica after a crash involving multiple vehicles Wednesday morning, including a fuel tanker truck.Massachusetts State Police said both troopers and Billerica firefighters were called to Route 3 northbound for the crash around 10 a.m. According to authorities, the crash involved a tanker truck that was said to be carrying “several thousand gallons of fuel.”Dashcam video shared with 7NEWS showed what appeared to be a pickup truck attempt to switch lanes on Route 3 before striking a passing SUV, then spinning out and crashing into the tanker truck. An attempt to break into a church in Manchester, NH ended with a suspect allegedly trying to strangle a K9 before assaulting three officers, biting one in the process, according to police.The Manchester Police Department said Paul Lopez, 36, was taken into custody Monday night after officers and state police were called to Mitchell Street.Authorities were initially responding to Our Lady of the Cedars Church for a burglar alarm activation when they came across Lopez, who an officer saw “banging on a window from the inside.”Manchester PD said that as more officers arrived at the scene, Lopez could be heard screaming. More seniors choosing to age in home instead of downsizing: CMHC report

Three people, two men and a woman, are facing charges after a male was beaten and stabbed in Oshawa on Tuesday afternoon.Officers were called to the John Street East and Simcoe Street South area at around 3:10 p.m. for reports of an armed person.The victim was found with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital.Police say several people assaulted him before he was stabbed.The suspects fled prior to police arriving on scene, but were arrested a short distance away.Ryan Gustave, 49, Lauren Hickey, 30, and Austin Ellis, 29, all of no fixed address, were arrested and all face charges of assault with a weapon, among others.The trio were held in custody for a bail hearing.
